  CURRENT NEWS
Updated: October - 2012

1. The Caribbean Club in Key Largo is where I have been playing weekend nights with the Luke Sommer Glenn Band, doing Classic and Southern Rock. We also play Wednesday nights at the Pilot House in Key Largo. See Schedule for details.
2. This year's Guitar Center Drum Off continues with the Quarterfinals Competition on Tuesday October 30 at the Hallandale GC location. Winners from other Guitar Centers from all of Florida and several Southeastern states will compete there to move to the next level. I was one of the Judges at the Kendall Store recently, where Hilario Bell was declared the winner. Looking forward to seeing him compete with other great drummers at the contest.
3. I have been putting together some new practice material involving hands against feet. Some exercises have the hands matching the feet, other routines use contrasting patterns to challenge coordination. Some of my students are boosting their playing working on these new ideas. Details and documentation to come later.
